The almond industry has been hit hard by the global shipping delays. As Australian Almonds embark on a new season they have stakeholders still looking for equipment to arrive from the United States and marketers looking to export to up to 50 countries around the world.
The past two years have been challenging to say the least for importers and exporters alike. Port Adelaide-based freight specialist Brian Mousley has been in the shipping game for more than 40 years and provides a sobering update on the challenges facing the almond industry in this interview with ABA CEO Tim Jackson.
